I admit I’m a penny pincher! I can’t think of a time I spent more than the $50 that was my share of the bill at Sushi a couple weeks ago with my husband. Together our bill was about $100 and it was a splurge for us! But was it worth it? Yes. It was super fun to just tell the sushi chefs what roll we wanted without concern over the cost of each roll individually. And it was so good!

Otherwise for “expensive” food, I buy what I need to make it at home. It may not always be as good as the restaurant but it’s more doable for us and it means our whole household of 6 can enjoy!
