This was a tough one! But ultimately I can only see myself going back in time and working on some kind of ranch or homestead where I could breed and train horses but also raise my kids! I have a handful of relatives a couple generations back who lived that life, and while I’m sure it came with it’s own challenges like no birth control and well, probably a lot more sexism than there is today, I would not mind the slower pace.
I can see the kids riding out with me on the horses to check the cows, baking bread, making homemade wine (let’s be real here), and sending my kids to a small one-room school! Simple, connected, and surrounded by nature!
